About Dr. L. Cary Orton

Dr. Orton grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho. After serving his country in the Navy for 10 years he established his private practice in the Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego. While in the Navy he was responsible for training new dentists in advanced endodontic techniques and held several leadership positions. He received many awards including the Navy Achievement Medal and Navy Commendation Medal. He has given lectures and presented research to numerous dental organizations. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San

Diego County Dental Society. Dr. Orton enjoys running and mountain biking and spending time with his wife, Serena, and 4 young children, Olivia, Joshua, Nathan, and Ava. He also speaks Spanish, Italian, and Greek.
